
Engineers from Sappi spent time with our STEAM classes today sharing all the work that they do. We appreciated having them visit with us! Do you suppose there are any future engineers in the audience today?


The Book Fair is open on Sunday, November 3 from 12 to 4! It is also open on Monday, November 4, and Wednesday, November 6, from 4 to 7 pm.

We've had lots of wonderful field trips during the last few weeks. Our fifth-grade students had a great trip today to Libby & Sons Orchard. Thank you to the team for planning this exciting learning opportunity!

YES had a new school bus on the streets of town this morning- the "Walking School Bus"! Thanks to all the students and parents who participated in this fall tradition at YES. There was even an official police escort!


Our 4th-grade beginner band is up and running! Along with the chorus, Orff Ensemble, and 5th-grade band, we are ready for a great year! Thank you to Mrs. Witherell-Stebbins and Mrs. Troy for their dedication to our budding musicians!


The 24-25 YES Civil Rights Team had their first meeting! We have a great group of 5th-grade leaders who are excited to get our projects started. At the first meeting, students worked on posters for our upcoming Day of Welcome!


Band Demo day was a big hit with our fourth graders today!
