Our annual "Wacky Sock Day" and Sock Drive was a huge success again today! Thank you to our second grade teachers for leading such a fun community meeting this morning.

MONDAY, JANUARY 29: There will be a two-hour delay to the start of schools in Yarmouth. There will be no morning Pre-K. Buses will run two hours later than usual, and the school day will end at the regular time.
The annual PTO Glow Run fundraiser was a great success! Our 5th graders had some fun at HMS while raising money for our schools.

YES/Rowe will dismiss at 1:30 p.m.
Morning PreK will follow its regular schedule. There will be no afternoon PreK.

We are pleased to share that the Yarmouth Education Foundation has approved two fall grants for YES: STEAM Family Night for Nicole Colfer, STEAM teacher, and Stereo Microscopes and camera funding for Dr. Deborah Landry, our science consultant. The YES 4th grade Chorus and Orff Ensemble kept the concert festivities going on Thursday night!

Innovation is in action at YES! When we needed a solution for a more quiet bell in the new playground tower, our fifth-grade STEAM students came to the rescue. Thank you to Sylvie Mocciola, Harlow Kitchens, Rasmus Kjeldgaard, and Eli King for their design and installation work!
