YARMOUTH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Our third graders had a great time today at Royal River Park! We'd like to thank the third grade team for planning such a wonderful experience. There's no better way to wrap up the school year than being outside and having FUN together!

Our second graders enjoyed exploring the Chewonki touch tanks today! We had so much fun with this hands on learning experience. Thank you, Chewonki!

The new music and band rooms were the last two area of the new school to be completed and they are up and running this week. What wonderful new spaces for our young musicians to learn and grow!

Congratulations to our third grade students for a successful "Tour of the World" this week. We learned a lot of interesting and fun information about so many different countries and cultures!

YES would like to thank our incredible PTO for kicking off Kindness Week today with our second graders! Students are creating "Kindness Flowers" that will be hung in their windows at home. Yarmouth High School already has some flowers on display!

We had some happy staff at YES today! Thank you to our amazing PTO for sponsoring a delicious staff appreciation brunch. We have the best parents!

Mr. Snow, our new grade four band teacher, presented a "Band Demo Day" with the help of his musician friends! Fourth graders had an opportunity to learn all about the different instrument options. Yoda from Star Wars even made an appearance!

We had to share the amazing display that Ed. Tech Elizabeth Gillan created for Women's History Month! It is literally stopping kids in their tracks. It adds so much to the library experience to have beautiful and eye-catching displays - stay tuned for poetry month!
