In STEAM classes, YES fourth graders explored birds in their habitat, learned about migration, discussed threats to birds and possible solutions. One solution to bird collisions was to draw on our windows to break-up the reflection for birds. The Forecaster and the Maine Audubon visited today because they are writing an article about our conservation efforts to save the birds! We'd like to thank Mrs. Colfer for organizing this amazing opportunity for YES students. We are sure that the local birds send their gratitude as well!
