Yarmouth School Department has lost internet access due to a contractor on West Elm Street cutting a fiber cable. We will likely be without service for the day. If you are attempting to reach us through the internet, our response will be delayed.

Our World of Change fundraiser has come to an end! We are donating this year's funds to Time to Compete, which will support young athletes in our community. Thank you to our student helpers who braved the drizzly morning to load up our change!


Congratulations to our amazing music teacher Mrs. Troy for being named the 2024 Yarmouth Teacher of the Year!


Sunday's performances of "Almost, Maine" by the YHS Playmakers have been cancelled due to power outages, fallen trees around YHS, and dangerous sidewalk and parking lot conditions. We will keep you informed of any updates.

What a performance by our 5th Grade Drama Club! Their performance of "Finding Nemo: The Musical" brought the audience to their feet this afternoon at our March Community Meeting. Congratulations to the actors, Director Ms. Pride, and assistant Mrs. Card.


ALERT UPDATE: The young ladies who were reported missing earlier this evening have been located and are now returning safely to their families. Thank you all for your concern and assistance.

Our 5th graders had an opportunity to demonstrate some of the Spanish they learned at the school committee meeting last night! Thank you to Mr. Profenno and Mrs. Colfer for sharing some exciting updates on Spanish and STEAM instruction at YES.

Our World of Change/Time to Compete fundraiser kicked off this morning!


At the Community Meeting today we got to see the first edition of the "YES Newscast". Thank you Mrs. Colfer and our 5th grade reporters!


Our annual "Wacky Sock Day" and Sock Drive was a huge success again today! Thank you to our second grade teachers for leading such a fun community meeting this morning.




Congratulations to Mrs. Stebbins and our 4th Grade Band for a fantastic concert on February 13th!


MONDAY, JANUARY 29: There will be a two-hour delay to the start of schools in Yarmouth. There will be no morning Pre-K. Buses will run two hours later than usual, and the school day will end at the regular time.

The annual PTO Glow Run fundraiser was a great success! Our 5th graders had some fun at HMS while raising money for our schools.
