    • June Newsletter June 2014 Newsletter Yarmouth Elementary School   Dear Parents, Guardians, and Friends,  Our last day of school is Tuesday, June 17th with a noon dismissal.  Teachers and students are holding Learning Celebrations during the next two weeks to showcase student growth, accomplishments and achievements. Please contact your student’s teacher if you are unsure of the time and date. If you want a conference with your child’s teacher, please let her/him know so it can be scheduled.     • May Newsletter May 2014 Dear Parents, Guardians and Friends, Dare I say that the weather actually feels like spring? At least the sun’s warmth feels hopeful.     • April Newsletter Dear Parents, Guardians and Friends, April vacation begins with Friday, the 18th off; classes resume on Monday, April 28th. We wish you a safe and relaxing week whatever your plans, and plenty of warm sunny weather. The gigantic snow pile at the back of the playground, once a place of great intrigue for forts and climbing, is now ignored and slowly disappearing as if embarrassed to still be around. We look at it with contempt.     Our annual “Beach Day” is Friday, April 11thOur cafeteria is converted to a beach for the day, turkey hot dogs are served for lunch, and the students sit on the “sand”.
